New direction to Marketing

I have partnered with Duane and Kimberly Thiessen of Living Sky Farms out of Weiser to market Grass-FINISHED Beef products in the future. My life has gotten busier with helping other producers around the USA produce clean, mineral-rich farm products. I needed to have a more “hands-off” approach to marketing Beef. Subsequently we have made […]

Glyphosate … What should NOT be for dinner!!!

It seems that almost everywhere we look these days our food is laced with Roundup and other chemicals. If they won’t clean up their act, then we need to go ORGANIC to ensure our families’ health. Jeffrey Smith has just come out with a compelling film that encourages us to do just that. You only […]

A small excerpt from the “Carbon” article is below… “Every additional gram of carbon in the soil allows the soil to hold an additional eight grams of water.  We have oxidised vast quantities […]

Took a little field trip on the 16th of February

I went over to Marsing to look at grass fats belonging to myself and McIntyre Pastures that are grazing a cover crop. So much better for the cattle (and the environment) when they are direct grazing standing forage. I am pleased, however it is about time to move for the day…

Separating FAT from Fiction for 15 plus years.

I am kind of late to the FAT game. We have had a lipid “hypothesis” for quite a while now. I think people are beginning to think it may be in error. Chris Masterjohn said. “I traced the origin of the term “lipid hypothesis” to Edward Ahrens in 1976, who defined it as the hypothesis […]
