New direction to Marketing

I have partnered with Duane and Kimberly Thiessen of Living Sky Farms out of Weiser to market Grass-FINISHED Beef products in the future. My life has gotten busier with helping other producers around the USA produce clean, mineral-rich farm products. I needed to have a more “hands-off” approach to marketing Beef. Subsequently we have made […]

Glyphosate … What should NOT be for dinner!!!

It seems that almost everywhere we look these days our food is laced with Roundup and other chemicals. If they won’t clean up their act, then we need to go ORGANIC to ensure our families’ health. Jeffrey Smith has just come out with a compelling film that encourages us to do just that. You only […]

The two part answer

A few people walk up to my booth at the farmers market and ask, “What is the difference between Grass-Fed Beef and Grass-Finished Beef. My answer is always that they can be exactly the same thing or they can be vastly different. Virtually all beef animals start out on grass (the offspring of dairy animals […]

Will our food be labeled for GMO content.

UPDATE Now we find out that Monsanto and GMA cheated even more than we knew!!! According to Attorney General Ferguson’s motion  from Washington state… “GMA’s conduct was so egregious that it ranks amongst the worst in state history. GMA worked to ‘shield’ the actions of major food companies from the very public entitled to know […]

Missing Andy Rooney today

I could only hope to live up to Andy’s Standards…   Written by Andy Rooney, a man who had the gift of saying so much with so few words.   I’ve  learned….  That  the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly  person.   I’ve  learned…. That when you’re in  love, […]
