Look at what the FDA has just approved. Bacteria eating viruses to spray on our food just before it is packaged. Really????
An excerpt from an article that NBC put on the web over the weekend states…
“The viruses are grown in a preparation of the very bacteria they kill, and then purified. The FDA had concerns that the virus preparation potentially could contain toxic residues associated with the bacteria. However, testing did not reveal the presence of such residues, which likely wouldn’t cause health problems anyway, the FDA said.”
Hmmmm, I wonder who paid for the testing? The way it is stated, it does not sound like the FDA’s concerns about toxic residues were not put to rest by testing done at the FDA. And I just get the warm fuzzies from the part of the quote that I put in bold “…which likely wouldn’t cause health problems anyway”
Makes one want to rush out and buy some to feed the kids.
As a kid, I remember there was a punchline to a joke that said, “We are from the IRS and we are here to help.” We only have to change that slightly for today’s disaster-in-the-making. “We are from the FDA and we are here to help.” In actuality, it probably worked out that way for this company. I will let you fill in those blanks.
If a person had no bar codes in their pantry, they would be well on their way to avoiding all of this nonsense and that one step alone would improve the health of most Americans.
Merry Christmas to all
